The annual Geary County 4H / Senior Citizens Center building fundraiser will be April 11.

According to Chuck Otte, Extension Agent, dinner for the event that raises funds to support the building, will be served from 6-7 p.m that evening. A silent auction will held throughout the evening, and this year there will be entertainment.
“We’ve got a cowboy poet, columnist for Grass and Grain, Glenn Brunkow….very entertaining, talks about life on the farm, cowboy poetry, just got a whole thing.”
This year organizers are hoping to raise enough money to finish restroom upgrade projects, and possibly add some new signage to the outside of the building.
