The Geary County Historical Society and Museum will be opening it’s new exhibit He Didn’t Wear a Top Hat Saturday afternoon.
The exhibit looks into the changing world of the 1950’s with new multidimensional
displays, including a grocery store and a hair salon.
Sarah Moppin, Museum Director explained the exhibit also offers some hands on activities. “We have a typewriter that is hands on and a telephone as well, and we have a brand new computer supplied by the Bramlage Family Foundation that will have a touch screen display on it about the 1950’s.”
The exhibit opens to the public Saturday at 1:30 p.m..
