Warm Weather to Continue Through Thursday

The warm weather will continue through the remainder of the work week with lower to middle 70s Today and Thursday. On Friday there may be a slight chance for showers in the morning across east central Kansas. Highs will range from the mid 60s to lower 70s. A weak cold front will Filecool high temperatures into the lower to middle 60s. Expect another warm up Sunday and Monday with highs reaching the upper 60s to mid 70s. A stronger cold front will move through the area late Monday, dropping high temperatures back into the 50s next Tuesday.

Hazardous Weather Outlook: The rangeland fire danger index will be in the very high category this afternoon. A very high fire danger means…Fire control will be very difficult and require extended effort. Outdoor burning is
not recommended.

Today: Sunny. Highs around 73. Northeast winds up to 5 mph shifting to the east around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Clear. Lows around 42. Southeast winds around 5 mph.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs around 73. South winds 5 to 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. East winds up to 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Highs around 70. Northwest winds up to 5 mph shifting to the north 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night Through Saturday Night: Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. Highs in the lower 60s.

Sunday Through Monday: Mostly clear. Highs around 70. Lows in the mid 40s.

Monday Night And Tuesday: Cooler. Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s. Highs in the mid 50s.
