Seven Day Forecast for Thursday, February 26

Widespread accumulating snow is likely this weekend. The first wave of snow will come on Saturday, mainly between 9 AM and 9 PM, with 3-6 inches expected by 9 PM. There may be a brief lull into early Sunday but re-development is likely with additional accumulation through Sunday. The main uncertainty in this forecast is in Filehow much additional snow will fall Saturday night and Sunday as there is some potential for a band of heavy snow to set up but it’s not a guarantee. There is also a small chance for sleet or freezing rain to mix in south of I-70 on Sunday. Precipitation will end by Sunday evening but another storm system will impact the area late Monday into Tuesday.
