The Geary County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau has recommended the awarding of two community support grants.

CVB Director Connie Hall told JC Post the CVB Committee approved $10,000 for Jammin In JC and $10,000 for Sundown Salute. “However that still has a couple of stages of approval to go through.”

The two proposed grant awards still must go before the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Geary County Commission for consideration.
