LAST GAME SUMMARY
K-State 59, 17/17 Oklahoma 56
Game 26 * Bramlage Coliseum * February 14, 2015
- Sophomore Marcus Foster hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 4.3 seconds remaining to send Kansas State to a 59-56 win over No. 17/17 Oklahoma in front of a sellout crowd 12,528 at Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday night. The 3-pointer, Foster’s second game-winner against the Sooners this season, helped K-State snap a 5-game losing streak and, in the process, earn a season sweep of Oklahoma for the second time in the last three seasons. Leading 56-49 with 3:51 remaining after a Foster lay-up, the Sooners used a furious 7-0 run to tie the contest at 56-all on a pair of free throws by Jordan Woodard. With neither team able to capitalize on their possessions, it was a pair of rebounds by sophomore Wesley Iwundu, the first on a Woodard miss with minute to play and the second on a miss by Jevon Thomas with 22 seconds that enabled the Wildcats to set up the final shot.
