Junction City Police have arrested one of the two victims involved in Sunday’s shooting at the KINGZ motorcycle club at 805 Grant Avenue.

Jackie Lee Oliver, 42, was arrested Tuesday on charges of suspicion of Aggravated Battery. Oliver had been transported to Geary Community Hospital suffering from two gunshot wounds.

“Detectives working this case believe there was sufficient evidence to indicate that Mr. Oliver was one of the gunmen involved in the incident,” confirmed Tim Brown, Chief of Police.

The other victim Derrick Dixon, 24 was also stabilized at Geary Community Hospital for a gunshot wound believed to be connected to the shooting and then transported to another hospital.

Brown did not say whether any other arrests are expected in this case. The investigation continues. Bond for Oliver has been set at $25,000.
