Adrianna Henderson scored 29 points to lead Topeka High ( 7-7 )  to a 68-59 win over the Junction City Lady Jays ( 2-12 ) Friday night at the Shenk Gym.

Topeka led throughout the game, with Junction City staying close enough to still have a shot in the fourth quarter to go for a win.  Akia Fain powered the Lady Jays on offense with 25 points, but after trailing 17-10 at the end of one quarter they just couldn’t completely close the gap.

Topeka High swept the regular season series from Junction City three games to none, winning twice in the capitol city, and then Friday night at the Shenk Gym.

The Lady Jays play at Hayden Tuesday night.
