The 7th grade boys basketball team at Junction City Middle School defeated Abilene Monday night 31-29 to improve to 3-5 on the season.

Darrin Batiste led Junction City with 10 points and eight rebounds.  Joel Nieves scored 7 points, and Jeremiah Bisio six points, seven rebounds.

The City Middle School ‘B’ team defeated Abilene 40-7. It was the first victory of the season for the ‘B’ team.
