A new facilities manager has been hired for Geary Community Hospital.

 

County Commissioner Florence Whitebread spoke with JC Post following a briefing from GCH Administrator Dr. Joseph Stratton. “Their new facility manager started this month, Howard Whitaker, who comes from Irwin Army Hospital. So they’re looking forward to him being into place, and help with the facility updates. ”

Whitebread noted January was a busy month at the hospital.

She noted flu case were one reason, but another factor mentioned by Stratton was an increase in surgery cases.
