The Junction City Lady Jays ( 2-11 ) picked up their second win of the season with a 50-39 victory over Shawnee Mission East ( 1-10 ), on Saturday in the 7th place consolation game of the Capitol City Classic in Topeka.

Junction City went 1-2 in the tournament with losses to Topeka High and Kansas City Sumner Academy before the win over Shawnee Mission East.

Junction City will host Topeka Friday night at the Shenk Gym.
