There will be an Army Listening Session for Fort Riley Feb. 9 at the Courtyard by Marriott Convention
Center in Junction City.
This is where the public can give input to Army leaders on the relationship and support given by the region to Fort Riley, and the impact of the post.
John Armbrust, Executive Director of the Governor’s Military Council, told Little Apple Post the listening session is a big event. “And we really need everyone to come out, and just their presence which the Army’s going to count….as we say count noses.”
The presence of the public would help convey the message of how important the post is to the area, and through the presentations made during the session information will be conveyed on how much the region is helping the Army meet their mission.
