Public Meeting Slate for Tuesday

The Geary County Commission will be in session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the County Office Building.

The commission will receive a series of reports ranging from the monthly report from the Extension Office and Geary Community Hospital to weekly reports from Sheriff Tony Wolf and Public Works Administrator Dennis Cox.

The Geary County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Advisory Committee will be in session Tuesday at noon at the Chamber of Commerce offices. Infotrac system is on the agenda under new business. There will be discussion on topics ranging from a Visitors Guide Update to a report on the Leaders Retreat.

The Junction City Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Municipal Building.

The agenda includes a request for city participation for the remodel of a city-owned hangar. There will be consideration given for a special use permit to allow the placement of a double-wide manufactured home at Freeman Field to serve as living quarters for LifeStar.
