Members of the Chambers of Commerce in Junction City, Manhattan, and Wamego will gather in

Overland Park Friday and Saturday for the annual Leaders Retreat.

The two-day session will have a primary focus on economic development….regionalism in practice. Subject areas will range from regional asset development and regional transportation to regional branding and marketing.

Other topics on the agenda range from support for the upcoming Fort Riley listening tour by the Army where Brigadier General Eric Wesley is scheduled to speak, to an update on Manhattan Regional Airport terminal and air service.

The Retreat gets under way at noon Friday at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Overland Park.
