The Highland Park Scots jumped out to a 12-2 lead over Junction City, and went on to defeat the Blue
Jays 54-43 at the Shenk Gym Tuesday night.
The Blue Jays climbed back to within 5 points late in the second quarter with the score 32-27 in favor of the Scots. But Highland Park scored two baskets after a timeout, and led by nine at halftime. The Scots then opened the second half strong and outscored Junction City 16-9 in the third quarter.
Highland Park was led by Jahlil Osby with 16 points, while Ricardo Erans had 14 for the Blue Jays.
Junction City fell to 2-6 with the loss, while the Scots are 5-3.
