Ag lease and farm bill basics are on the agenda at the Geary County 4-H / Senior Center Wednesday evening.

Geary County Extension Agent Chuck Otte will spend about 30-40 minutes reviewing the agricultural lease basics, and the Kansas Ag Lease Law.

The second part of the program will be a quick look at the new farm bill, especially decisions that need to be made, critical deadlines, and some basic economic analysis to consider when selecting which part of the program you are going to participate in.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. It is open to the public.
