Fort Riley School Attendance Boundaries Set for 2015-16 Term

USD 475 LogoThe USD 475 Board of Education has approved the Fort Riley school attendance boundaries for the 2015-16 school year.

The plan is to close Custer Hill Elementary at the end of the current school year, with most of those children attending Ware Elementary in the future.  Board of Education President Kim Milleson feels it’s good for those students to remain together when they move to another school. “Oh absolutely. Last year when were on post talking to the parents that was one of the main things that the parents wanted, for their kids to be able to stay with each other. Luckily we able to handle most of that.”

The plan for the near future after this school year is to use the current Custer Hill Elementary School building for storage.
