The Junction City Commission will receive a proposal Tuesday evening on the sale of the former waterbed store building at 617  North Washington Street to Country Floral & Gift.

Mayor Mike Ryan said with the proposed acquisition Country Floral & Gift would be moving across the street from their current 624 North Washington location. The plan would renovation of the building with the sales floor on the downstairs first floor, and the upstairs apartment  converted to a living area.

The commission meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
