The Junction City Blue Jays are ranked fifth in the latest Class 6A rankings by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association.

The Blue Jays are coming off a second place finish in the 16-team Emporia Tournament last Saturday.

Garden City is ranked number one followed by Olathe North, Derby, Manhattan, and Junction City.

Some of the Blue Jays are ranked in their respective weight classes.

–Downey Wood, third, at 138 pounds

–Jake Bazan, third, 145

–Aryus Jones, fourth, 160

–Jeryl Denton, fifth, 152

–Max Bazan, fifth, 106

–and JQuan Robinson, sixth, 170 pounds
