The Geary County Sheriff’s Department responded to a location near mile marker 302, the eastbound lane of I-70 early Monday morning for a non-injury accident.

Jonathan Michael Sample, Junction City was operating his 1999 Ford Expedition when it slid off the highway and struck a sign.

The accident was reported at 6:21 a.m.
