The Junction City Blue Jay wrestling team finished fourth out of 12 teams in the Clay Center Tournament.

Junction City was led by Max Bazan with a second place finish at 106 pounds, and Jeryl Denton, who finished second at 160 pounds.

Also for the Blue Jays, Gabe Padilla captured third at 126, Downey Wood third at 138, and Aryus Jones third at 170 pounds.

Blue Jay coach Bob Laster reported that Garden City finished first in the team competition. The Blue Jays compete in a 16-team tournament at Emporia this Saturday.
