The Junction City Blue Jays jumped out to a 15-8 first quarter lead over the Great Bend Panthers,
and rolled on to a to a 75-37 boys basketball victory at the Shenk Gym.
Junction City held an 18-point margin at halftime, 40-22, and then outscored the Panthers 35-15 in the second half.
The Blue Jays had 10 players score in the game, led by Ricardo Erans with 14 points. Erans and Josh Bryan both hit a trio of three point shots in the win. As a team the Blue Jays connected on 11 3-point shots.
Junction City, 1-2, plays at Hays Tuesday night, while Great Bend, 1-3, goes to Manhattan Tuesday night.
