The Kansas State Wildcats have moved up to number nine in the latest rankings by the College Football Playoff Committee.
The Wildcats moved up three notches from their number 12 ranking of one week ago after their 51-13 win over the Kansas Jayhawks.
Alabama is ranked number one, followed by Oregon, TCU, and Florida State. Ohio State is ranked fifth, followed by Baylor, Arizona, Michigan State, Kansas State, and Mississippi State.
The top four teams in the final poll due to be released this Sunday will advance into the College Football Playoff.
The Wildcats end their regular season Saturday when they play at Baylor.
