Kansas State used a size advantage over visiting Hampton Friday to defeat the Lady Pirates, 66-46, in Bramlage Coliseum for the Wildcats’ third straight 20-plus margin win to open the 2014 season.

K-State ( 3-0 ) out-rebounded Hampton, ( 0-3 ) 50-32, and out-scored the Lady Pirates in the paint, 32-10.

Sophomore Breanna Lewis matched her season-high with 13 points and seven rebounds, while senior Ashia Woods paced the Wildcats in rebounds with nine, and assists with five.
