K-State ( 1-0 ) continues its short two-game homestand to start the season Monday evening, as the Wildcats host UMKC ( 1-0 ) in the opening game of the EA Sports Maui Invitational at 7 p.m.

The matchup is one of seven opening games involving the eight “Island Teams” and the four “Mainland Teams” in the tournament. Each Island Team will host one home game against one Mainland Team prior to advancing to the Championship Round, Nov. 24-26, at Lahaina Civic Center in Maui.

UMKC is coming off a win over Missouri on Friday.
