The Junction City Blue Jays ( 8-2 ) will host the Lawrence Free State Firebirds ( 7-3 ) in the second ( Sectional ) round of the Class 6A football postseason playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday ( Nov.14 ) at Al Simpler Stadium in Junction City.

The other second Class 6A pairings Friday night include:

–Hutchinson ( 6-4 )  at Derby ( 9-1 )

–Overland Park – Blue Valley ( 9-1 )  at Olathe North ( 10-0 )
