There will be a student-parent orientation meeting for those interested in playing a winter sport at Junction City High School. It is scheduled at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at the JCHS main campus. At 7 p.m. each winter sport will conduct their own information meeting to discuss tryout procedures, rules, and other information.

At 7:30 p.m. there will be a general meeting to discuss athletic department guidelines, random drug testing policy and new NCAA eligibility guidelines. Parents and student athletes should attend the general meeting if they missed the fall parent meeting or have an interest in hearing about the new NCAA eligibility guidelines.

Winter sports offered at Junction City High School include boys and girls basketball, boys and girls bowling, boys swimming, and wrestling.

Winter Sports will begin their first day of practice on Monday, November 17.
