The Junction City Blue Jay boys cross country team finished tenth in the Class 6A state meet competition Friday at Rim Rock Farm north of Lawrence. Coach Rebecca Steiger said Stephen Deveau earned a medal with a 16th place finish in 16:41.50.

Blue Valley won the boys team title with the low score of 53 points. Junction City finished with a score of 190.

In the girls race  Bri Pace of Junction City  finished 46th in the individual competition with a time of 16:26.80.
