Following Kansas State’s 23-0 win over Texas on Saturday, the Wildcats have become bowl
eligible.
Fans are encouraged to make plans now for the Wildcat’s postseason destination by pre-ordering tickets to any of the Big 12 tie-in bowl matchups.
K-State’s potential destination will not be known until December, but officials note that pre-ordering tickets through the K-State ticket office helps ensure the best possible spot for the Cats. The Big 12 Conference has a new lineup for 2014, which includes the College Football Playoff, Valero Alamo Bowl, Russell Athletic Bowl, AdvoCare Texas Bowl, AutoZone Liberty Bowl, and Cactus Bowl.
Season ticket holders, Ahearn Fund members, K-State Alumni and all Wildcat fans can pre-order bowl tickets online at k-statesports.com, by calling 1-800-221-CATS, or by printing and returning the paper bowl ticket application which can be found at k-statesports.com/bowlgame. A paper form will also be mailed to all season ticket holders and Ahearn Fund members in the coming days.
Season ticket holders and Ahearn Fund members should complete an online bowl application on the Season Ticket Renewal page at the online ticket office. Fans that have previously registered and linked their online account to their season ticket account can simply log-in with their respective e-mail address and password. The Athletics Ticket Office will process ticket orders for those fans who have pre-ordered tickets to the game following the bowl announcement on Sunday, December 7. Tickets will be assigned based on athletic department priority points and the post-season priority structure outline on the bowl pre-order form.
Tickets will be assigned and mailed as quickly as possible. In most cases bowl tickets are mail approximately 10 days before the event. the K-State Athletics Ticket Office will keep all fans that have pre-ordered tickets updated with ticket information via e-mail.
Ahearn Fund members that pre-order bowl tickets through the K-State Athletics Ticket Office will receive Prioty Point for each bowl ticket purchased.
The K-State Alumni Association will provide official travel packages to the bowl game. Visit the Alumni Association’s official bowl travel page at k-statesportstours.com to register for travel package information. Travel packages will not include game information.
K-State students are asked to stay tuned for information about student bowl tickets. Once the bowl announcement has been made student ticket information will be sent out via email to K-State student pass holders.
