Acoustic “fingerstyle” guitar player Shaun Hopper will perform in concert at the C. L. Hoover Opera House at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Hopper will weave in humorous tales from his small town Georgia roots along with an occasional glimpse into his “backwoods” upbringing.”

Shaun will take the audience on a global tour from Celtic Imagery and Classical Medley to Soulful Ballads and Jazzy Improvisation, all of which he will counter with a cliff-hanging Nashville “hot licks session,” original or ’70s pop song.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for military and seniors 65 and older, and $12 for students 18 and under.

In addition to his concert, Hopper will conduct a master class on The Academy: Fingerstyle Guitar. It is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Opera House.
