The Military Retiree Appreciation Day at Fort Riley on Friday will give retirees an opportunity to
obtain four inoculations, including flu, pneumonia, whooping cough, and shingles.
That will be part of a Health Fair at the Appreciation Day event at Riley’s Conference Center.
Registration for the activities begins at 8 a.m. with the program beginning at 8:30 a.m.
There will be a number of speakers ranging from Irwin Army Community Hospital Commander, Colonel Risa D. Ware to Fort Riley Post Exchange and Commissary managers. Glenn Seutter, the United Healthcare Military and Veterans Representative will also provide details on vital Tricare and Medicare information to those in attendance.
There will be a “County Fair’ with information booths.
