During a recent visit to the State Fair the Geary County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau learned one somewhat surprising fact from a survey.

Connie Hall, CVB Director stated, “Surprising we did find that, that billboards, people are paying more attention to billboards, and altering their travel plans by those, and also that people do plan a majority of their trips 250 miles from their home.”

The CVB operated a booth at the State Fair in September.
