Special Olympics Kansas has announced that Krystin Guggisberg, has been hired as the North Central Regional Director.

As Director Guggisberg will be responsible for managing all phases of the Special Olympics Kansas program for athletes, coaches, volunteers, family members, sponsors and media in 24 counties, which include the major cities of Junction City, Manhattan, Salina, Topeka, McPherson and Beloit.

Guggisberg previously worked in alumni programming for the K-State Alumni Association. She worked with volunteers around the state and country to put together events and socials for K-State alumni and supporters, in hopes of promoting continued involvement with the university.

She is a graduate of Kansas State University. The North Central office will be locatd in Manhattan. She started her duties on October 13th.
