The Kansas Department of Labor has released the unemployment rates for Kansas counties for the month of September.

Checking area counties the percentage of unemployed included:

–5.3% in Geary County

–3.6% Riley County

–4.1% Dickinson County

–3.6% Pottawatomie County

–Morris 4.0%

–Clay 3.2%

All of the counties showed a decline from August.
