Junction City police have reported the City – County Drug operations group, assisted by the
Junction City SWAT Team, JCPD, and Geary County Sheriff’s Department, executed a search warrant at 1509 Custer Road in Junction City. The search was obtained after a drug investigation into suspected illegal drug activity at the residence.
Arrested were:
–Neko Jones, 19, Junction City, on suspicion of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Stolen Property, and Aggravated Endangering a Child.
–Naja McCrea, 34, Junction City, on suspicion of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Stolen Property, and Aggravated Endangering a Child.
Both Jones and McCrea were booked into the Geary County Detention Center pending a first appearance in Geary County District Court.
The Drug Operations Group seized suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the residence. A stolen firearm from Riley County was recovered during the search of the residence. Two children were also placed in Police Protective Custody.
