The Junction City – Geary County Drug Operations Group has confirmed they executed a
traffic stop in the 500 block of East Chestnut in Junction City Thursday afternoon, and a subsequent search warrant was then executed at Motel 6.
Arrested in that case were:
–David Bragg, 30, Junction City, on suspicion of Sale of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine and Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Criminal Acquisition of Drug Proceeds, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, and Unlawful Use of a Telecommunication Facility.
–Soo Burnside, 31, Manhattan, on suspicion of Possession of Cocaine and Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp.
Bragg and Burnside were booked into the Geary County Detention Center pending a first appearance in Geary County District.
Authorities seized suspected crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $6,600, nearly two ounces of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a vehicle, and U.S. currency.
