Workers at KJCK Radio  in Junction City found two guns located in a tree line behind a trash dumpster at the station Thursday morning.  They were a Colt M4 .22 carbine long rifle with a scope and a Taurus 9 milimeter handgun.

Police were called and they gathered up the guns, which appeared to have been at the location for several months.

The JCPD confirmed a check of the serial numbers revealed the guns have not been reported stolen. Police removed the guns from the site.
