The Broadway musical “The Boyfriend” will be presented by students at Chapman High School. It also will include students from Chapman Middle School, and from each of the USD 473 Elementary Schools.
Rehearsals have been under way since the first week of September.
The Boyfriend is set in the 1920’s on the French Riviera. The story follows the adventures of young ladies at the Madame Dubonnet’s finishing school where their interests are more in boys than in school work.
The show is directed by former Chapman High School music instructors Joe Markley and Sheila Markley. Also assisting are Angie Wheeler, CHS Music Instructor, Randy West Choreographer, Kyle McGuffin Sound Designer, J. R. Liggett, Lighting Designer.
Performances are Thursday, Nov. 6 and Friday, Nov. 7 in the Chapman High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Admission is $5. Tickets are on sale in the Main Office at Chapman High School.
