The Republican candidate for the 65th District seat in the Kansas House of Representatives
Lonnie Clark said Tuesday if he’s elected he really wants to help Junction City.
Jobs and tax cuts are needed. Education is a key issue, said Clark.”Obviously because of Mr. Brungardt’s background and some of the things that the teachers are upset about. Of course my background is education as well so I can address those issues. Teachers are concerned about tenure and their retirement, understandably so. But I think we’ve go to look at it real hard in terms of what we’re going to do.”
Clark added, “I don’t intend in cutting or messing with retirements or any of that kind of thing.”
Clark is running for the 65th District seat in the Kansas House against Democrat Tom Brungardt.
