giving feedback.
Following a forum at Washington Elementary School a task force member Harold Marion of Geary Community Hospital said housing affordability was a prominent issue at that event. “The quality of housing, the affordability of housing in the community. We’re on the north side of town. There are some issues up here.”
Marion noted transportation has been a big issue in all three public forums that have been held. There is a perception that there is a need for more transportation, and for affordable transportation.
The next step will be to develop action plans to meet challenges and conclusions revealed by the assessment.
