Allan Rothlisberg has ended his write-in campaign for reelection to the 65th District seat in

the Kansas House of Representatives.
Rothlisberg lost his bid for reelection in the August primary to Lonnie Clark, but later announced he would run a write-in campaign. However he told JCPost.com Tuesday, “I suspended it.” When asked why he said, “Particularly on fundraising I didn’t have the normal things to raise the cash on. I just can’t afford to do it on my own.”
Rothlisberg is in the second year of a two-year term representing the 65th District. It ends in January.
Rothlisberg indicated he would probably run for elective office some time again in the future, but he noted he had no idea for what position.
