Hannah Custer has been elected the Homecoming Queen and Daniel Rivera the Homecoming
King at Junction City High School.
Custer and Rivera were among the royalty recognized at halftime of the 20-13 Blue Jay football win over Washburn Rural at Al Simpler Stadium.
Custer said it was one of the biggest thrills of her high school years. “It’s an honor.” Custer plans to attend Kansas State University in the future, and said she is hoping to become a veterinarian. She is the daughter of Lance and Michelle Custer.
Rivera stated, “It was very shocking for me. I think it’s an honor to support my class. ” He added he plans to attend Kansas State University to study pre-med. He would like to become a doctor in the future. Daniel is the son of Luz and Rafael Rivera.
Members of the senior class voted on the king and queen.
Prince and princesses were recognized in the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes.
