The Manhattan Fire Department has reported that the fire at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and

Bar has been ruled by investigators to be accidental, due to combustible materials being placed too close to a heat source.

There were no injuries in the overnight fire. Firefighters responded to the scene about 1 a.m. Thursday.

The damage estimate was put at $75,000 to the contents and $75,000 to the structure.
