Sophomore guard Marcus Foster has been selected to the Preseason All-Big 12 team released by the conference office.

Joining Foster on the five-man preseason team are Perry Ellis of Kansas, Juwan Staten, West Virginia, Buddy Hield, Oklahoma, and Georges Niang, Iowa State.  Staten was voted the Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year and Bryce Dejean-Jones , Iowa State , was the Preseason Newcomer of the Year. Cliff Alexander, Kansas, and Myles Turner, Texas, was selected the Preseason Freshmen of the Year.

Foster led K-State in scoring with 15.5 ppg last season. He had 27 double-digit scoring games, and was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team.
