A committee working on a proposed sports complex in Junction City is waiting on the Florida
based company SFA to finish work on the first draft of a pro-forma study for the project.
Committee member Brian Field said that’s an idea of what the company feels Junction City should have in the area. “As far as the amount of fields, sizes of facilities, cost projections. ” The first draft is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
Field confirmed once the information is received the next step would be to determine where to put the facility, the size of it, the amount of land needed, and the information will also give the committee on the potential cost of the facility.
The work on the proposed sports complex idea has been under study for several months.
