HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man was arrested on arson and drug charges stemming from a fire at a vacant mobile home Tuesday afternoon.

Forty-one year old Troy Petz was jailed on suspicion of arson, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass.

Fireman responded to the 2200 block of East 4th around 2:30 p.m., and found smoke and flames coming from the rear of the trailer The fire was controlled in 10 minutes with units on scene for about two hours. Petz was taken into custody a short time later, and is being held on a $10,750 bond.

The trailer, which was empty and had no utility service was valued at around $5,000 and is a total loss.
