A Junction City – Geary County proposal to the regional Metropolitan Planning Organization would seek funding from KDOT for a feasibility study for a proposed interchange on I-70 at Taylor Road.

That location is on the southwest edge of Junction City.

Planning and Zoning Administrator David Yearout said they’re putting together marketing documentation and material at a meeting scheduled with Kansas Department of Transportation officials in October. ”

Yearout noted Taylor Road is halfway between the interchange of Milford Lake Road and U.S. 77 Highway.
