The Flint Hills Regional Council has received a good annual audit report, according

to Executive Committee member Ben Bennett.
“The council reviewed the audit for the year, and we actually came out very good on the audit. We’ve got enough money to operate until May. Then we’re really going to have to look at the odds and ends.”
Bennett noted the economic development district and regional transit administration being formed through the Council are moving forward. “Both are on target. They’re both in line to be approved and to move some money forward in the next few months after the first of the year.”
