Robert E. Rook, 81, of Topeka, passed away at Midland Hospice House in Topeka this past Sunday.

Mr. Rook was a long-time employee of the F.W. Woolworth Company and for many years worked in a management position for the then Woolworth South Central Distribution Center in Junction City.  Among survivors is son Rick Rook, Junction City, a member of the Junction City Fire Department.

Graveside services and interment will be held 1:30 pm Thursday, September 18 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Thursday evening the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., in Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Baptist Church.
