Corvias Foundation, a private, charitable foundation and the charitable arm of Corvias Group, has been committed to supporting military families in the pursuit of higher education since 2006. This year, Corvias Foundatiion has awarded 20 grants totaling $100,000 to the spouses of active-duty service members.

At Fort Riley, Sara Devine, Jenna Osterman, Wendy Therkelsen, and Leslie Valencia have each received a $5,000 educational grant.

Devine is pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education, as well as a certification in Secondary Education at Kansas State University.

Osterman is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work from Washburn University.

Wendy Therkelsen is a sophomore pursuing an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology at Brown Mackie College-Salina.

Leslie Valencia is a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Wichita State University.
